Project Threshold – A new serial dropping monthly from September!

September 1st sees the release of the first of four books from Craig Crawford. This unique series details the adventures of Project Threshold, a secret military organisation dealing with the supernatural.

September 1st – Team Berger – Pre-order now for Amazon & other stores.

October 6th – Team Talise

November 3rd – Team Riker

December 8th – Finale

Our world exists alongside others in a multiverse. Occasionally creatures and entities slip into ours from other dimensions. In four sets of stories, Project Threshold is a novel length serial following four teams of special agents who protect humanity from entities and monsters who threaten us.

Project Threshold starts with Harris Berger leading his team into a cavern, looking for a lost hiker. This particular cave is home of some unknown civilization with tech far beyond ours. Berger treads carefully, not wanting to end up like others who ventured inside. It’s the first of five adventures for he and his team. It’s easy to die and happens quick, even for veterans. Death is not the only price soldiers in the Direct Contact Teams face. Running into some of the horrors erodes your sanity, and the price of keeping the biggest secret in the world takes its toll.

Team Berger faces an unknown advanced civilization, mimics loose on the streets of Chicago killing homeless people, dealing with the aftermath of witnessing awful things, mermaids in the Midwest and an apartment where people start committing suicide for no reason.

Talise Randall leads Division-2, putting her life on the line to protect the rest of her team. Growing up with dark paranormal experiences of her own, when she learned of Project Threshold it was the perfect fit. Talise works to protect against the kind of evil she and her brother endured as kids. Team Talise goes head to head with an unstoppable entity, an otherworldly jealous boyfriend, a haunted museum, a Victorian home with much more than a ghost, and her team discovers what happens to all those lost socks from people’s dryers.

Hannah Riker, leader of Division-A, scours the huge expanse of Alaska. Strange country, it has more activity than most places on Earth. The victim of a monster who killed her family, Riker eagerly joined Project Threshold to stop other horrors stepping into our world, but also to use Project Threshold’s resources to find and avenge herself on what slaughtered her parents. Riker and her team follows in the wake of beings dispensing justice marking their victims. They intervene on a resort where people disappear even during daylight, fend off a tribe of furry humanoids claiming ownership of a valley, and discover there might have been a civilization on Earth far older than we imagined.

Riker stumbles upon an ancient, unkillable entity bent on the destruction of humanity. She and her team are ambushed and it’s up to the rest of Project Threshold to rush in to save the entire world from extermination. Berger, Talise and an obscure 4th team head to Alaska to figure out what happened to Riker and what’s loose. They, along with all the rest of the organization, attempt to kill this threat. However, even Project Threshold doesn’t have the technology to destroy this thing whose sole purpose is to cleanse the Earth of humans.

Using psychic skills, their wits and all their training, Project Threshold manages to contain the entity, giving humanity another chance.

Harvey arrives next Friday!

July 28th sees the release of Harvey, the debut novel from Freddy Beans.

Harvey was born all alone in this world, with a mysterious condition that made him physically untouchable. Anyone that gets within a few feet of him becomes violently ill. Cast off to an orphanage, dark thoughts set in even as his imagination blossoms. A young girl named Diedre arrives with problems of her own. Ostracized from the other kids, they forge a friendship, in large part thanks to Harvey’s gift as a natural storyteller. Deidre is the only friend Harvey has ever known.
Unfortunately for Harvey, children in the system come and go, and their friendship wasn’t meant to last.
Years later, a chance meeting on the streets of Sacramento reunites them. Diedre is just as broken, and Harvey is just as alone as they were as children. They’ve both built walls, but Diedre finds hers crumbling, finds herself wanting to connect… needing to.
The problem is that Harvey has a new friend now, a possibly dangerous friend… and he’s preparing to spread his wings for the first time.

Harvey is the debut novel from Freddy Beans, a darkly whimsical tale of friendship, loss, and horror. Pre-order on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Apple Books

Books, Books, and More Books!

As Hannibal from The A-Team famously said, ‘I love it when a plan comes together!’. In our case, we love it when some books come together and this week saw the completion of a number of titles.

A few days ago we released the digital version of the fourth issue of Cauldron of Chaos, featuring short stories, artwork, interviews, book and movie reviews, artist features, and giveaways. Sadly, the cover artist, Gary Becks, passed away before we could go to print so we have included a special memorial piece in his honour. Available digitally exclusive to Godless here. Print versions of all four issues can be found on Amazon… Issue One, Issue Two, Issue Three, Issue Four.

Arriving on Kindles a day ahead of release, R is for Revenge, book 18 in the A-Z of Horror series, is OUT NOW! Paperback will be available from tomorrow.

R is for Revenge is the eighteenth book in an epic series of twenty-six horror anthologies. Between these pages you will find a collection of thirteen shocking tales from some of the greatest independent horror authors writing today. From avenging spirits to nature’s wrath, abused youths to jilted lovers, R is for Revenge brings a brutal and heartbreaking selection of horror tales that will satisfy the human desire for vengeance.

And for something a little different, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming release from Chisto Healy, 196 Days Later (in dog years). Aimed at teens and young adults upwards, this is a unique twist on the zombie genre you won’t want to miss. Available to pre-order now for Kindle and other readers.
