Welcome to Red Cape Publishing
August was a fairly quiet month for us as it was the school holidays and there was a lot of camping, BBQs, and days on the beach (poor us!). Now that we are ‘officially’ back to work, we are busy putting together the Halloween special issue of the magazine, which is looking like it will be fantastic, with the chance to win three signed paperbacks! P.J. Blakey-Novis attended Hastings LitFest signing books and meeting lots of great writers, and we are in the process of organising a book fayre at the Brighton (Sussex, UK) Open Market in November.
The September issue is out now and includes a giveaway of Lucy Brazier’s awesome Portergirl: Sinister Dexter, one of the most fun books I’ve read this year. You can find my review in the issue. To enter just email redcapepublishing@outlook.com with IWR September Giveaway in the subject line.
We have been continuing to update our Pinterest page, so if you’re looking for something new to read then take a look at our recommended reads at www.pinterest.co.uk/redcapepublishing
Finally, we would like to offer a free book of your choosing! Just email redcapepublishing@outlook.com and request any of the three collections of short horrors (Embrace the Darkness, Tunnels, or The Artist), P.J. Blakey-Novis’ debut novel The Broken Doll (a steamy femme fatale thriller along the lines of Fatal Attraction), or even his children’s book Grace & Bobo: The Trip to the Future.
Enjoy!
